LinkedIn is a great professional resource for nonprofits. Join us as we learn about ways to develop an effective company page, create professional personal pages, utilize LinkedIn advertising, conduct funding research, and even find and recruit board members and volunteers.

 

Learning Objectives Include:

·        Understand the utilities of LinkedIn for your organization

·        Examine aspects of professional and personal pages to build relationships

·        Generate donors, board members and volunteers using LinkedIn

 

ABN Nonprofit Marketing Certificate:

This workshop counts as 3 credits towards the ABN Nonprofit Marketing Certificate. To receive this certificate, a participant must earn 18 credits (six qualifying courses) within a two-year period. Credits are tracked on individual sub-accounts (not admin accounts) as course credit stays with the individual. For more information, contact Chloe Perry at cperry@betternonprofits.org.

 

CFRE Credits:

Full participation in Maximizing LinkedIn to Advance Your Cause is applicable for 3 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or re-certification. BIO:

Elle Benson is originally from Denver, Colorado and came to Tennessee via UT Knoxville, where she graduated from the College of Business. She recently completed her MBA in Leadership at Tiffin University. Before joining ABN, Benson served as Marketing Supervisor for LBMC, PC, and was the Director of Operations for the YWCA Knoxville. She is Past President of Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK), and served as the Curriculum Chair for the inaugural YPK Leadership Certificate program. Benson serves on the board of Friends of Literacy, the American Marketing Association Knoxville, and the United Way Young Leaders Society.
