This training is free to current members of the Alliance for Better Nonprofits.

Do you know about all of the FREE information and services you can access with your Knox County Public Library card? They are a goldmine for nonprofit resources! You can access grant and funder information, detailed demographic data and statistics, e-books and audio books on fundraising and leadership, and so much more.

One library resource is the Foundation Directory Online, a database of thousands of potential grant opportunities for nonprofits. Lawson McGhee Library is the only library in our community to offer this free service. At this session, Alliance for Better Nonprofits members will meet Ian Henderson, Research Librarian, and Erin Phelps, Business Librarian, to learn more about how your local library can help your nonprofit find more funding.

GrantStation is another online database of grant opportunities accessible through your ABN membership. Tiffani Mensch, Director of Community Engagement, will show you how to access your account and search for funding opportunities right on your laptop.
