The focus of the CBW is to experience the transforming power of genuine community and learn the skills and principles required to create that experience. Over the past two years, 12 CBWs have been held in East Tennessee with participants from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.

Participants report many benefits from their CBW experience such as:

·     Improved listening, presence and other communication and leadership skills

·     New relationships and social capital with people from diverse parts of the East TN community

·     Enhanced family and personal communication and relationships

·     Relief from burnout and compassion fatigue

·     Improved outcomes in work settings when applying Community skills, principles and practices

This workshop is presented by the Community Building Institute. Please contact Paula Williams at (865) 406-5212 paula@communitybuilding.com with any questions.
