Learning Objectives Include:

  • Examine trends in millennial giving
  • Explore strategies to implement in your organization’s fundraising and programming that attract millennial donors

Who Should Attend:

Any nonprofit staff that fundraises who has a basic familiarity with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

Sam Amick was born and raised in Knoxville but briefly lived in Boston while getting her degree in film and television at Boston University. Sam has worked in a variety of media industries – in a photography studio, at TV news station WBIR Channel 10, and for community radio station WDVX. Most recently, Sam worked as the advancement officer at East Tennessee Foundation where she spearheaded an initiative to bring in millenials as board members and donors.
