Nominations are now open for the 2020 Governor's Volunteer Stars Awards.

Volunteer East Tennessee is coordinating nominations for the following counties in East Tennessee: Anderson, Blount, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, and Sevier.  

To nominate a valued volunteer in your community or organization, please complete the form in its entirety.

Each year, one adult and one student volunteer from each county in TN are recognized at the Governor's Volunteer Stars Awards (GVSA). This year's GVSA ceremony will take place in Franklin, TN on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
All nominees will be recognized at the East Tennessee Recognition Awards (ETVRA) in Knoxville, TN on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

PLEASE NOTE: Organizations may nominate ONLY one (1) ADULT and one (1) STUDENT volunteer PER PROGRAM. Self-nominations will not be accepted. Volunteers may only be nominated every other year for the same program (e.g. if Valerie Volunteer was nominated in 2018, she should not be nominated again until 2020).
